dc.description.abstract	The aim of this text is to analyze the role played by the spanishness and the latin in the American film taking as an example the career of Antonio Banderas. Starting by his roles in Almodovar films and finishing up with his passing on the other side of the camera, we consider the overlapping of spanish and latin american in the New Hollywood imaginary.	en_US
