| For Francoism historiography understands that produced the Franco dictatorship that destroyed the liberal historiographical tradition and history of civilizations, before the civil war, and emphasized the ultra-nationalism and Catholic fundamentalism. In this paper we analyze the resources, the institutional context and directives for the contents of the official historiography of the history of Spain through the review Arbor, as well as generations of historians who conformed. We also study the scientific and democratic new historiography that emerged from the fifties (influenced by Annales and other trends) and the new generation of historians that displaced Francoist historiography.Por historiografía franquista se entiende la que produjo la dictadura de Franco, que destruyó la tradición historiográfica liberal y la historia de las civilizaciones, anterior a la guerra civil, y enfatizó el ultranacionalismo y el integrismo católico. En este texto se analizan los recursos, el contexto institucional y directrices de los contenidos de la historiografía oficial sobre la historia de España a través de la revista Arbor, así como las generaciones de historiadores que la conformaron. También se estudia la nueva historiografía científica y democrática que surgió desde los años cincuenta (influida por Annales y otras tendencias) y a la nueva generación de historiadores que desplazaron a la historiografía franquista. | |
