Este artículo cuestiona de manera crítica tres tesis básicas del proyecto habermasiano desde 'Conocimiento e interés'. a) La posibilidad de sintetizar dos maneras filosóficamente opuestas de elaborar una teoría de la racionalidad (la aproximación lógica-trascendental y la aproximación fenomenológica en sentido hegeliano); b) Las petitiones principii implícitas en la interpretación habermasiana de las 'ciencias reconstructivas'; c) Su intento de reducir la teoría crítica de la racionalidad a teoría de conocimiento.
