dc.description.abstract	Este capítulo contiene un estudio de Derecho internacional del medio ambiente sobre las normas y estrategias para prevenir y eliminar la contaminación resultante de hidrocarburos y otras substancias causadas por las descargas de agua de producción costa afuera en el mar. Debemos tener en cuenta que no existe ni un solo tratado internacional de ámbito mundial relativo a la contaminación por descargas de hidrocarburos contenidas en las aguas de producción generadas en las instalaciones costa afuera. De hecho, sólo hay una región marina donde existen normas jurídicas y estrategias para hacer frente a este problema de contaminación. La región marina es el Atlántico nordeste y la norma en cuestión es la Recomendación OSPAR 2001/1 para la gestión de las aguas de producción procedentes de las instalaciones costa afuera, adoptadas en la Cuarta Reunión Anual de la Comisión OSPAR, celebrada en Valencia, España, del 25 al 29 de julio de 2001.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	This chapter is a study of International environmental law on norms and strategies to prevent and eliminate pollution by oil and other substances caused by discharges of offshore produced water into the sea. We must bear in mind that there is no single international treaty of world-wide scope of application dealing with pollution by oil discharges contained in produced water from offshore installations. In fact, there is only one regional marine area with legal norms and strategies to face this polluting problem. The regional marine area is the North-East Atlantic, and the norm in question is the OSPAR Recommendation 2001/1 for the Management of Produced Water from Offshore Installations, adopted at the Fourth Annual Meeting of the OSPAR Commission, held at Valencia, Spain, from 25 to 29 July 2001.	en_US
