dc.description.abstract	Esta investigación se centró en realizar un análisis acerca de la implicación de las tecnologías de información y comunicación TIC en el tejido asociativo inmigrante en España y la incidencia, de éstas en sus países de origen. La tecnología repercute en todos los espacios sociales, culturales, políticos y económicos a nivel nacional e internacional, en la población en general y en la migración de forma específica. De hecho, los inmigrantes se están convirtiendo en puentes de comunicación tanto en el desarrollo de la sociedad de acogida como en el de las sociedades de origen. De esta forma logran importantes efectos económicos, sociales, culturales y políticos en ambas partes. Muestra de ello es el asociacionismo inmigrante. En este ámbito se pone de manifiesto la voluntad de integración de los inmigrantes y el deseo de seguir vinculados a las sociedades de origen con el objetivo de ayudar a mejorar la situación de esos espacios dentro su comunidad y de sus propios países. Estos vínculos directa o indirectamente han logrado mejorar el entorno y la calidad de vida de países enteros por su efecto multiplicador sobre el desarrollo, pero al mismo tiempo esta situación se plantea como un desafío mundial del que se conoce muy poco; todavía más ahora, cuando nos enfrentamos a un nuevo reto llamado las nuevas tecnologías que inicialmente se plantea como una herramienta de ayuda a los ciudadanos en general y a los inmigrantes de manera específica de acuerdo con la Cumbre Mundial sobre la Sociedad de la Información (CMSI) Ginebra 2003- Túnez 2005. Sin embargo, las nuevas tecnologías actualmente han logrado agrandar la brecha que existe entre ricos y pobres. Así, la separación, la marginación y la discriminación actual en buena medida es producto de la implantación de las TIC en la sociedad. dc.description.abstract	The focus of this investigation was to analyze the implication of information and communication technologies ICT in the immigrant’s network in Spain and its incidence in their native countries. Since, it has been shown that technology affects all social, cultural, political, and economic areas, in national and international levels, over the population but specific in the immigrant community. In fact, immigrants are becoming the communication bridge not only for the development of the new host society but also for their society of origin. Thus they attain important economic, social, cultural and political effects in both places. An example of this is the immigrant associationism. On this matter, it is shown the immigrant’s will for their integration and to continue their bond with their society of origin by helping to improve their situation within their host community and of their own countries. These connections directly or indirectly have achieved to improve the environment and quality of life of entire countries due to its multiplier effect on their development. However, at the same time, this situation brings up a world challenge of which little is known and even more now that we are facing a new challenge called the new technologies ICT. At the beginning, ICT were used as a tool to help citizens and immigrants specifically, according to the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Geneva 2003 – Tunis 2005. However, nowadays the new technologies of information and communication have increased the gap between the rich and poor. In this way segregation, marginalization, and/or discrimination are due to the implementation of these ICT in society.
