dc.description.abstract	The phD thesis deals with the issue of the potential use of arbitration as a mechanism to solve conflicts between citizens and the Spanish Administration. The Thesis analyzes the basis of the Spanish Administrative Law system and the special position and powers of the Administration in Spain. It studies in depth the existent models of dispute resolution in areas other areas of Public law in the country: its implementation and main characteristics. It also includes a comparative study of the use of arbitration as a way of solving disputes between Administration and citizens in other jurisdictions (specially, in the United States and France). The Thesis ends up with an analysis of the key elements for a future model of administrative arbitration in Spain.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	La tesis doctoral aborda la posible incorporación al Derecho administrativo español del arbitraje como medio de resolución de los conflictos entre Administración y ciudadanos. Partiendo del origen del Derecho administrativo y de la especial posición y prerrogativas de la Administración, se estudian las distintas aplicaciones de mecanismos alternativos de resolución de conflictos en sectores próximos al Derecho administrativo, su implementación y caracteres; abordando, además, el panorama comparado de la cuestión en otros ordenamientos, especialmente, Francia y Estados Unidos. Todo ello, lleva a en una última fase de la tesis doctoral, a plantear y reflexionar acerca de cuáles serían los elementos clave de ese hipotético modelo de arbitraje administrativo.	es_ES
