dc.description.abstract | The aim of this research is to investigate which are the previous conceptions of University students about the Welfare State. From this topic we can approach to the conception of citizenship and show how a social issue can problematize the idea of historical thinking. This conception is investigated by using different instruments such as questionnaires of previous ideas and discussion groups. The results show that students have a lack of welfare state historical perspective but once they ponder its historical evolution and its validity nowadays, the perception changes towards greater awareness of the model of critical citizenship and ethically responsible that we pretend to promote. | es |
