dc.description.abstract | Gastronomy is one of the most recurrent topics when teaching second languages ? not only for the culinary aspect itself, but also for its link with culture. When learning Spanish as a foreign language, gastronomy is essential in students? everyday lives due to their immersion in the Spanish culture. Many products, dishes and diets are sometimes ignored by students due to a lack of information or the availability of cheap and unhealthy products within their social circles. For this reason, «¡Para chuparse los dedos!» has been created as an activity to find and dismiss the clichés connected to Spanish gastronomy. In addition, since this activity encompasses the idea of the Mediterranean diet, students are informed about a healthy diet linked to Spanish gastronomy, which might encourage them to reflect on their eating habits. Stemming from this topic, different activities for A2-B1 students have been developed from a communicative and creative standpoint. | es |
