dc.description.abstract	The authors present the results obtained in a group of 58 risk cases out of a series of 164 patients with Perthes' disease. Analysis is carried out in terms of patient age and the therapeutic approach employed. After evaluating the results, the approach involving retention of the femoral head within the cotylum was found to be superior, with femoral varization osteotomy (with or without derotation) being clearly favored by the authors in this series.	es
