dc.description.abstract	After finding the letter of Antonio Muñoz Degrain in which he revealed his sources to make the painting La conversión de Recaredo, we have conducted a detailed study of the History books published in the 19th century, in order to check the nineteenth-century vision of the Visigothic Kingdom and the degree of accuracy of Muñoz Degrain. On the other hand, and due to the chronology of the painting, we carried out a review of the representation of the Recesvinto?s crown of the Treasure of Guarrazar.	es
