dc.description.abstract | The presence of a big grasshoppers in certain Salvador Dalí?s paintings has been explained iconologically as the result of his phobia. The origin of this insect is located in the painter?s subconscious, being an advance of his paranoid-critical method. However, a study of the buildings on Monturiol Street, where he lived his childhood and youth, unreil a particular origin of this orthopteran, revealing the conscious use of the elements present in his paintings. | es |
