dc.description.abstract	Industrial heritage keeps being a forgotten and misunderstood heritage in Spain. The obsolescence of the industrial sector related to this good and their location, usually urban outstanding spaces, makes them into elements of speculative interest. Eventually, considering the lack of legal protection, they end up in ruins, between oblivion and destruction. This works focuses on the analysis, catalogue and diffusion of the only Moorish type oven surviving the demolition of the factories and ceramical workshops of the historical ceramic artisanal quarter of Obradors, in Manises (Valencia). The unjustified destruction of the group of industrial heritage linked to this oven forces us to become aware of the need to act with determination, since only knowledge, along with the catalogue of this oven to protect it as a monument of local significance, will get it away from disappearance. In order to accomplish this, we have proceeded with the catalogue of this oven, and the investigation, inventory and recovery of the important historical memory of the work and the place where it belongs. In this way, we expect that the diffusion of this knowledge, along with graphical and oral testimonies that we have collected, help to make visible the historical industrial heritage that has already been destructed, and to protect the limited heritage remaining in this singular ceramic quarter.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	El patrimonio industrial continúa siendo en España un patrimonio incomprendido y olvidado. La obsolescencia del sector industrial al que estos bienes van unidos y su ubicación, en muchos casos, en espacios urbanos privilegiados los convierten en elementos de interés especulativo y su fin último, ante la falta de protección legal, termina siendo la ruina, el olvido, y la destrucción. El presente trabajo se centra en el análisis, catalogación y difusión del único horno de tipo moruno que ha “sobrevivido” a la demolición de las fábricas y talleres cerámicos que había en el histórico barrio artesanal cerámico de Obradors, en Manises (Valencia). La destrucción injustificada del conjunto de Patrimonio Histórico Industrial al que este horno va ligado nos obliga a tomar conciencia de la necesidad de actuar con firmeza. Pues solo el conocimiento, junto a la catalogación de este horno para que sea protegido como Bien de Relevancia Local lo librará de desaparecer. Para ello, hemos procedido a catalogar este horno y a investigar, inventariar y recuperar la importante memoria histórica del trabajo y del lugar al que pertenece. De manera que la difusión de estos conocimientos, junto a los testimonios orales y gráficos que hemos recopilado contribuyan, por un lado, a visibilizar un patrimonio histórico industrial que ha sido destruido y, por otro, a salvaguardar el escaso patrimonio material que ha quedado en este singular barrio cerámico.	es_ES
