| The right to image in the Mexican legal system has had in recent years an evolution in its treatment before jurisdictional bodies, in which, based on comparative law, they justify their decisions based on criteria of the North American system, obviating the form of solution in other countries with legal systems similar to Mexico?s. This paper analyzes two judicial cases on the right to the image, with the intention of distinguishing the procedural mechanisms of protection of the right to the image to assess its effectiveness in the administration of justice. Finally, some reflections are made on the current panorama of the right to the image, which insists on the need to quickly provide the procedures established in the regulations to protect the rights of the personality in the era of human rights. | |||
