| On June 26 2019, Directive 2019/1023 on preventive restructuring frameworks, second chance and measures to increase the efficiency of restructuring, insolvency and discharge procedures, was passed ending the legislative drafting process revolving around the commented by scholars and jurists, Proposal for a Directive of November 22 2016.
