| Los gustos e intereses de la nobleza pesaron de diferentes modos sobre el espectáculo teatral de los Siglos de Oro. Si por un lado la nobleza cortesana producía entretenimientos teatrales para su propio consumo y el del príncipe, también las Entradas Reales, de producción municipal fundamentalmente, albergaron espectáculos cuya configuración y contenido estaban determinados por la presencia de la persona real y de su séquito. No hay que olvidar tampoco la presión que la ideología nobiliaria pudo ejercer sobre ciertos géneros, como el de la comedia genealógica, según pone de manifiesto la documentación sobre el encargo de Lope de Vega de un par de comedias de esta especie. las relaciones y textos seleccionados ilustran los diferentes modos y grados de influencia sobre la diversificada teatralidad áurea.The tastes and interests of the nobility weighed in different ways on the theatrical spectacle of the Golden Age. If on the one hand the court nobility produced theatrical entertainments for their own consumption and that of the prince, the Entradas Reales, mainly produced by the municipality, also hosted shows whose configuration and content were determined by the presence of the royal person and his entourage. Nor should we forget the pressure that the ideology of the nobility could exert on certain genres, such as genealogical comedy, as evidenced by the documentation on Lope de Vega's commission of a couple of comedies of this kind. the selected relations and texts illustrate the different modes and degrees of influence on the diversified golden age theatricality. | |
