During the Middle Ages and the Renaissance the practice of falconry reached its peak, both in the Christian West and the Muslim world. This hunting practice hab been forged since last Antiquity and from its origins it was evident that the exchange of knowledge and experiences between huntsmen and falconers became common practice. The stimulating and fruitfut cultural contact was common between Christians and Muslims. This article explores some of its manifestations and features. |
