| We studied the presence of heaths on dunes in Cantabria. Nine new phytosociological inventories were performed in 3 different localities ?Laredo, Loredo and Liencres? along the Cantabrian coast. We determined that the presence of these heaths is found in 5 UTM 10×10 km squares and that almost all of the localities studied are included in protected natural areas. Finally, we identified the potential and current threats and proposed possible management and conservation measures | |||
