| The floristic catalogue of the municipality of Algaida, in the Pla district (Majorca), is presented. A total of 750 different taxa have been recognized. The percentage of endemicity is very low, 1,7%. On the other hand, there is a high percentage of species of allochthonous origin (10,1%), mainly ornamental taxa with a high invasive potential. It is worth noting the location of the only population of Ornithogalum baeticum Boiss. on the island of Majorca. Most of the taxa found are terophytes (46,2%), of Mediterranean origin (68,0%), occupy ruderal habitats (58,0%) and have a very sparse or localised distribution in the study area. | |||
