dc.description.abstract	The bibliography on generic, specific and infraspecific names related to the nomenclature of Arctostaphylos uva-ursi, a taxon widely distributed in the Northern Hemisphere, is compiled. For each name, the author and bibliographic reference to the protologue and the combinations are cited, as well as information on the locality and type; errors in authorship and citation are corrected, and some names are typified. This information should be useful to help determine the correct application of the names of this taxon of complicated nomenclature.	es
