dc.description.abstract | Wide bandgap perovskite solar cells have demonstrated great potential for multi-junction solar cells applications. This thesis aims to develop efficient wide bandgap perovskite solar cells fabricated using scalable techniques, in particular using vacuum deposition methods. The focus is on improving the properties of wide bandgap perovskite films and incorporating them into high-performing solar cells. The time-consuming nature of laboratory-scale thermal evaporation deposition is addressed by developing a combinatorial vacuum deposition approach. This enables the rapid development of novel perovskite compositions by producing over 100 solar cells with different compositions in a single deposition run. Furthermore, a strategy to increase the complexity of the formulation of vacuum-deposited lead halide perovskites films is introduced, and efficient and thermally stable CsMAFAGA quadruple-cation perovskite solar cells were prepared. Finally, the stabilization of the CsPbI3 black perovskite phase via vacuum deposition is investigated. CsPbI3 perovskite films were successfully obtained at room temperature by incorporating a larger cation, dimethylammonium. Moreover, fully vacuum processed solar cells are fabricated in both the p-i-n and n-i-p configurations, incorporating these CsPbI3 perovskite films. | es_ES |
