| dc.description.abstract | This paper aims to provide a proposal of Teaching Unit for the subject Social Sciences: Geography and History, in the fourth year of secondary school (4th year ESO). In an educational setting in which gender studies are absent or at least anecdotally included in part of the ESO's curriculum, this TU offers an innovative alternative that allows including a single unit overall trajectory which was the suffragist and achieving equality by women. Although I am aware that at 4 º ESO nomenclature of the subject is itself History of Spain and therefore the curriculum in principle should correspond only to content chronologically and spatially located in Spain, it's necessary to make one complete TU this subject, to start the conceptual and historical tour of suffragist since its origins-the French Revolution- to the present day, although the latest content makes a clear reference to Spanish history. It's this diversity that would allow the TU, conceived in an open and flexible way, to be used in other ESO courses and even in Contemporary World History in eleventh grade. The TU starts, as we said, with a work offer from a basic point about the suffragist and feminist concepts, a historical tour of the claims suffragists from its origins in the French Revolution, through the British suffragette movement and the American one; reflected in the labour movement, the role of women during the Spanish Civil War and the Franco regime and a current and comprehensive reflection on the role of women in democracy and the proposed upgrading of domestic work -the undervalued housewives-. Thus, the intention is to provide curricular and instructional material that supplements modestly the curriculum gaps regarding the history of the genre, as we see, not only anecdotally included in the curriculum and school supplies, but more often, totally absent. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | El present treball té com a finalitat oferir una proposta d'Unitat Didàctica per a l'assignatura Ciències Socials: Geografia i Historia, en el quart curs d'Educació Secundària Obligatòria (4rt ESO). En un marc educatiu en el que els estudis sobre gènere estan absents o, com a mínim, inclosos de forma anecdòtica i parcial en el currículum de la ESO, aquesta UD ofereix una alternativa innovadora que permet incloure en una sola unitat una trajectòria global del que ha estat el sufragisme i la conquesta de la igualtat per part de les dones. Tot i ser conscient de què a nivell de 4rt de la ESO la nomenclatura de l'assignatura és pròpiament Història d'Espanya i, per tant, els continguts curriculars en principi deurien correspondre únicament a continguts cronològica i espacialment situats a Espanya; es fa necessari, per fer una UD completa amb aquesta temàtica, iniciar el recorregut conceptual i històric del sufragisme des dels seus orígens -la Revolució Francesa- fins a l'actualitat; si bé els últims continguts ja fan una clara referència a la Història d'Espanya. És aquesta diversitat la que permetria que la UD, concebuda de forma oberta i flexible, puga ser emprada en altres cursos de la ESO i fins i tot en Història del Món Contemporani, en primer de Batxillerat. La UD s'inicia, com dèiem, amb una proposta de treball des de un punt de partida bàsic sobre conceptes sobre el sufragisme i el feminisme, a un recorregut històric de les reivindicacions sufragistes des dels seus orígens a la Revolució Francesa, passant pels moviments sufragistes britànic i americà; el seu reflex en el moviment obrer; el paper de la dona durant la Guerra Civil i el franquisme i una reflexió actual i general sobre el paper de la dona en la democràcia i la proposta de revalorització del treball domèstic -les menysvalorades mestresses de casa-. Així, la intenció es aportar un material curricular i didàctic que suplisca modestament les carències del currículum respecte a la història del gènere, que com veiem, no sols està inclós de forma anecdòtica al currículum i els materials escolars, sinó més sovint és totalment absent. | es_ES |
