In this paper we carry out a bibliographic review that picks up high school and university students' alternative conceptions about galvanic cells. Moreover, we analyze high school Spanish textbooks (Grade 12) in order to know how the problematic concepts about galvanic cells are presented. We conclude that these textbooks have many shortcomings which can obstruct students' learning. On the other hand, it must be introduced instructional methodologies that facilitate an appropriate understanding of concepts | |||
