This article analyzes the didactic potential of the new Google application, Google Hangouts according to the criteria established by Chapelle (2001) and its suitability as a ICT resource in the current educative context with the purpose of increasing the digital competence of the teacher. Then, three different ways of exploitation of this program are detailed: its use in the process of learning, either physical or online; its application as a means of teaching the target culture; and its utilization as an internal tool in our education institution. |
