dc.description.abstract | The so-called third-generation university has conceptualized knowledge in its institutions as "international know-how hubs". This fact has determined that the objectives of university education not only involve the transmission of knowledge but also lead to an integrated system in which content is combined with competencies and values. Starting from this initial description, the author of this article considers that Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences offers a great variety of possibilities to meet the objectives of university education. This article specifically applies a methodology based upon the theory of Gardner to the teaching of Latin Literature. | |
